A Verbufa paper interleaver (VPI) places sheets of paper under shaped products such as hamburgers and mince patties.

To insert paper between product layers, a VPI can be installed immediately downstream of a Verbufa MBF-1 forming machine, or between a Verbufa retracting conveyor and a tray denester.
